OUR STORY
Cedar Haven Resort is a family owned business located on 30 acres of pristine forest at the edge of Wells Gray Park. All hand-crafted cabins are built with sustainably harvested western red cedar, from our own property.
We take pride in offering an authentically Canadian experience to our guests, combining access to wilderness with modern day comforts and amenities. All cabins come fully equipped with complete kitchens, private bathrooms, and flatscreen TVs.
Or experience one of our luxury tents, nestled privately beneath the forest canopy. Kick back in the sauna after a long day of hiking (or biking or skiing) in the park. Sing a song around the campfire, BBQ some steaks, and challenge someone to a game of badminton or croquet.
We love to help plan itineraries for you while you are in Wells Gray country - just send us an email or ask when you check in. While you're here all guests are welcome to enjoy our sauna, campfire, BBQ's and garden. We are an environmentally friendly resort so we change linens and towels every other day, or by request. We collect rainwater for toilets and watering, and we provide extensive recycling options for our guests. We have free wifi however because of our remote location it is not always reliable.
We highly recommend that you bring warm clothes for the evening, mosquito spray, and a sense of adventure!

We drove up to the cabins and were very surprised by the beauty of the property and cabin. We checked in and looked around in the beautiful garden. What an amazing place to stay. Very quite and lovely place. The owners are very nice people! You feel at home directly.
It's clean and comfortable including a bbq.
Wilderness Glam-ping Personified
Among the evergreens of Clearwater lies a quiet, luxurious glam-ping experience. Cedar Haven offers the sounds of the wild outside the "tent", along with mini-fridge, modern plumbing and a bed fit for a king inside! The deck with adirondack chairs are ideal for relaxing after a sauna or a self prepped meal in the well equipped outdoor kitchen.
A fantastic way to ease in or out of camping!! All the perks of home with an outdoor twist.

My favourite place we've ever stayed in Canada! Log cabin perfect homely and clean. Lovely location, almost didn't want to recommend it so we could keep it secret but it deserves a fab review!! We will definitely be planning a return trio thank you to Greg and Marian x
